Wolfpack still raising funds for speedway team as search for home continues
The Wolfpack Support Team has held a successful fundraising evening, but the search still goes on for a new home for the speedway club.
Riders, management and fans all mingled together at The Cleveland Arms, Moseley Village, on Thursday night, raising vital funds for the club during a quiz, raffle and auction.
The shock news in the spring that the owners of Monmore Green Stadium were not renewing the Wolves' lease to race at the venue has bound the management and fans tighter together.
Wolfpack chairman Mark Sawbridge said: "The one positive thing to come out of the announcement was how in which the Wolverhampton Speedway family has come together.
"The positivity and love shown for the club has been nothing short of remarkable. 'What happens now?' is a question we're being asked on a regular basis,
