Wolverhampton primary school ranked "good" by Ofsted inspectors
A primary school in Wolverhampton described as "nurturing" has been handed a "good" rating following a visit from an education inspector.
St Martin's Church of England Primary School in Bradley was given the ranking by Ofsted after an inspection in April.
Inspectors praised the school for its "strong sense of community and mutual respect" and described the pupils as "happy", commenting that they "enjoy school".
Leaders were labelled "ambitious for what pupils can achieve", with all pupils "including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities" described as achieving well.
Inspectors also noted that pupils' experiences are "broadened by trips and by visitors in school", with leaders described as helping pupils to become "responsible, active citizens".
Pupils at St Martin's were said to have demonstrated the "Christian values of resilience and compassion" through "learning and play".
