Wolverhampton city centre bank closed for several days due to refurbishment works
The Lloyds Bank branch in Wolverhampton city centre is temporarily closed for refurbishment work.
A sign put on the closed doors of the historic building on Queen Square states: "Bank closed due to refurbishments. Reopens on Thursday, December 8."
It follows a number of branch closures for refurbishment across the UK including Hereford and Taunton.
Senior Lloyds Bank manager Joanne Whitehouse, said : “We're investing in our Queen Square branch in Wolverhampton to make the space better for customers and colleagues, which means it will be closed for a short while.
"The branch will reopen on 8th December and, in the meantime, customers can use our Wednesfield branch alongside other ways to bank including the Post Office, telephone, mobile and online banking."
