Traffic stopped on M6 northbound due to rush hour crash with 60-minute delays
Traffic was stopped on the M6 northbound due to a crash between a lorry and a car during rush hour traffic.
Motorists were facing delays of up to 60 minutes. Traffic has now been released with all lanes open.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We were called at 7.37am to reports of a collision involving a car and a lorry between junction 9 – 10 northbound on the M6, Wolverhampton.
"An ambulance and paramedic officer attended. The car driver, a woman, was assessed and treated on scene for non-serious injuries before being conveyed to Walsall Manor."
Emergency crews and police were called to the scene.
