Emergency water works close busy road leaving Wolverhampton city centre

The work is being carried out by Severn Trent Water and has resulted in a temporary closure of Penn Road, outbound from the city between Vicarage Road and Buttons Farm Road junctions.

The closure is expected to remain in place until Tuesday.

The work being carried out started at around 10:30am on Friday and are described as "Utility Repair and Maintenance Works".
