Brooke Crimmins, 23, from Wolverhampton, is carrying out the kind-hearted initiative to raise money for Children with Cancer UK.

She is asking people to donate to her fundraising page as part of the cause, which is being done through GoFundMe.

She released her own single, called At Christmas Time, on December 1 to kick off her initiative.

Brooke will also be singing popular Christmas favourites like Santa Clause Is Coming To Town and Where Are You Christmas.

Last year, the singer performed in a concert for Children with Cancer UK, in December 2019, where she became inspired by a young girl who had cancer.

This year, however, she has not been able to take part in the concert due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Brooke said: "I was in a charity concert for Children with Cancer UK last year.

"There was a young girl who came and told us her story, which left me quite emotional.

"Due to coronavirus, all charities have faced hardship and a significant loss of income for the year.

"I wanted to use the skills that I have to not only entertain people but to raise funds for a wonderful cause that has been effected by the pandemic."

As part of the cause, Brook will also be selling personalised Santa letters and Elf-a-Gram video messages, with proceeds from the sales going to Children with Cancer UK.

All of the videos can be found on her website and social media channels.

Her website is www.charitychristmascarolling.com, Facebook page www.facebook.com/charitychristmascarolling, Twitter page twitter.com/cccwithbrooke and Instagram page charitychristmascarolling.

Anyone wishing to donate to the cause can do so by visiting her fundraising page at www.gofundme.com/f/charity-christmas-carolling.
