Woman taken to hospital after car and van collide on Wolverhampton road
A woman has been taken to hospital after a car and van collided on a busy road in Wolverhampton.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at the junction of Cannock Road and Underhill Lane yesterday.
The Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford was scrambled alongside an ambulance and paramedic officer at around 2.30pm.
The woman, the driver of the car, was assessed and helped out the vehicle before she was taken to New Cross Hospital for further assessment.
Her injuries are not believed to be serious, a spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said.
