More than £90,000 raised to help the most vulnerable across Wolverhampton

More than £90,000 has been raised to help the most vulnerable across Wolverhampton through a fundraising project.

Leaders across te city came together to launch four campaigns – under the One City Fund umbrella – to help those in need.

It has raised a total of £90,764 for food banks and a number of charities, with more than 250 people and businesses coming forward to donate.

Wolverhampton Council leader Councillor Ian Brookfield said: "The One City Fund was created, in response to the spirit of generosity shown throughout the city, to give people a simple way to contribute to the city’s efforts to support vulnerable residents during the pandemic and make sure no-one gets left behind.
