Heroic Harvey leads the way in 104 Challenge for refuge
A women and children's refuge is asking the community to get involved in their latest fundraising challenge.

The Haven, based in Wolverhampton, is setting the task of clocking up 104 miles or kilometres during June - it can be done solo or in a team.
The charity’s youngest 104 challenger so far is Harvey , a young boy aged seven-years-old who is cycling 137 miles during the month - the distance from his house to Wembley - in support of The Haven.
So far the young cyclist has already raised more than £300 for the charity.
Harvey said: “I wanted to raise money for The Haven because I want to help mommies and children have a better life and feel safe.

"It made me feel sad when my mom told me what The Haven was about so I wanted to help.”
The idea came for the 104 challenge as 104 women are killed each year by a current or former partner and during the first three weeks of lockdown, cases of domestic abuse killings doubled.
The Haven is now appealing for people of all ages to get involved in the challenge to raise awareness and vital funds so that the refuge's services can continue to help those in need.
Jade Secker, fundraising manager, said “Harvey is already a true Haven hero for taking on such an epic challenge. He has been raising lots of awareness for the charity and has already raised an incredible amount that will ensure vital services can continue to help women and children fleeing from domestic abuse.”
The challenge is open to everyone. To take part set up a fundraising page and for a free fundraising pack visit www.havenrefuge.org.uk/events or contact The Haven via their social media @TheHavenwton
