Woman still in hospital three weeks after fatal Wolverhampton crash
A woman remains in a serious condition in hospital three weeks after she was injured in a crash which killed a man.
She was one of two people who were hit by a red Peugeot 207 in Parkfield Road, Parkfield, Wolverhampton, on December 12.
The other, a 43-year-old man who has not been named by West Midlands Police, died at the scene.
The woman, aged 55, remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition, police have confirmed.
A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Parkfield Road was cordoned off at its junction with Birmingham New Road for around four hours after the crash, which happened on the morning of the general election.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call West Midlands Police on 101.
