No kidding: Escaped goat found on Wolverhampton street
An escaped goat has been tracked down after it was spotted roaming a Wolverhampton street.
Officers from Wednesfield tracked the the runaway animal to Belton Avenue – where they snapped pictures of the bizarre encounter.
The owners of the "very friendly" goat have been since contacted by the force.
Wednesfield Police tweeted: "Some days you just never know what the next job is – an escaped goat on Belton Avenue.
"Fortunately very friendly. Owners contacted – love this job"
It comes as cows had to be moved by police after they wandered onto a main road in Cannock.
