Teenagers flee from stricken car crashed through front gardens
A car ploughed through two front garden after losing control on a Wolverhampton road.
The metallic grey Vauxhall Astra hit two fences and came to a rest against a silver Honda Civic parked on a driveway.
Police officers attended the crash scene, in Moat House Lane West, Wood End, just after 3pm today.
The Vauxhall – believed to have been on cloned plates – lost control and crashed through two front gardens, police say.
Wooden fencing destroyed in impact, which also damaged the side of the Honda outside of the house before it came to a halt.
No-one has been hurt after the incident, but "major damage" was caused by the parked car.
Two youths were spotted running away from the scene, Wednesfield Police tweeted.
A woman, who did not wish to be named, said: "It was scary to experience. I have lived here since 1988 and I had never heard anything like this before."
Her daughter, 39, added: "This is shocking. My mom was on the phone panicking."
