Woman cut from car in Bridgnorth Road crash
Three women have been injured and one was cut from a car after a crash outside Wightwick Manor.
The collision happened at around 3pm today on Bridgnorth Road in Compton, near Wolverhampton, when two cars were involved in a head-on crash.
A 70-year-old woman was cut free from her car after complaining of back pain, and suffered "multiple injuries".
A 59-year-old woman and a 71-year-old woman were also injured, but none of the injuries are believed to be life threatening.
An air ambulance was dispatched to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a senior paramedic and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford attended.
"The driver of one car, a woman, had minor injuries and was discharged at the scene.
"A driver and a passenger in the other car, both women, were taken to New Cross Hospital by land ambulance.
"The passenger was cut from the vehicle by the fire service and suffered multiple injuries, not believed to be life threatening.
"The driver suffered injuries not believed to be serious."
