Wolves fan raises thousands with Molineux to Anfield cycle
A lifelong Wolves fan has raised thousands of pounds by cycling from Molineux to Anfield ahead of the club's final Premier League match.
Manjinder Kang, better known as Manny, completed the challenge on Sunday which has seen his fundraising total top £23,000 for Dementia UK.
The 46-year-old tackled more than 100 miles during his trip, on a route with stops in Stone, Middlewich and Runcorn before getting to Anfield for the final clash of Wolves’ Premier League season, facing title-contenders Liverpool.
Manny, who has been a fan of Wolves since 1987, warmed up for the bike ride by taking on the Malvern Hills half marathon on April 27, joined by five friends.
Mr Kang, who has previously raised money for Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital and the Crisis Homeless Charity, chose Dementia UK due to friends suffering from the illness.
