Vote for model dog Marley in top photography competition
A playful puppy from Wolverhampton has proved he has model good looks after reaching the final of a national photo competition.
Cocker spaniel Marley was snapped by his owner Jayne Sullivan while he took a dip in the lakes at Dudmaston Hall in Bridgnorth.
Jayne, from Oxley, had thrown a chew toy into the lake for Marley to fetch and managed to catch him on camera as he swam back up to her.
She submitted the photo to the national Chuckit! Challenge competition hoping to win a free chew toy for two-year-old her pet, but was amazed to find out she had beaten 500 other photo entries and made it through to one of three finalist spots.
Children's nurse at New Cross Hospital Jayne, who also has two other dogs - 10-year-old border collie Millie and six-year-old cocker spaniel Max - said: "I just took it on my phone. I knelt down when he started swimming back up to me, and I sent it to the Chuckit! Challenge just to get the toy.
"We did get the toy but I haven't given it to Marley yet - he's a bit too good at eating toys.
"It would be brilliant if I won, but I don't think I will as one of the other dogs has so many votes."
The 38-year-old hopes locals can behind her and Marley, and vote for them in the competition. If they receive the most votes, they will win a dog-friendly holiday with Forest Holidays worth £1,000.
Jayne added: "I was over the moon to be in the top three. I’d love to be able to win the holiday for Marley so we hope that our friends and family, as well as the local community get behind us."

The competition will run until July 31, with the two runners up also receiving a hamper of toys and top brand doggy items.
