Union club up for sale
A social club will go under the hammer at auction next month.
The Windsor Unionist Club, in Cannock Road, is to be sold at a guide price of between £190,000 and £200,000.
Auctioneers SDL will sell the two-storey building at Aston Villa's stadium, Villa Park, on September 6.
In the listing, the 5,780 sq ft site is described as a club premises considered suitable for redevelopment.
It is used by West Midland Travel Sports & Social club.
The building is available for use as a private members club with a lounge bar, snooker room and cellar.
It also has a living area with three bedrooms, plus car parking.
The listing states: 2The property is considered suitable for a continuation of its existing use and also for redevelopment or conversion to a variety of roadside uses, or residential, subject to obtaining the appropriate planning consents."
The site was initially advertised with a price of £260,000.
