Lodge Farm, in Willenhall, confirmed it was closing around 10am telling parents to collect their children on social media.

Severn Trent confirmed the burst water pipe was in Stroud Avenue.

Temporary lights have been installed causing traffic disruption in the area while it is being fixed.

A Severn Trent statement said: "This morning we’ve discovered a burst water pipe on Stroud Avenue.

"We've moved water around our network of pipes so most customers should now start to see their water returning however this will be at a lower pressure than normal.

"There are still a few customers without water whilst the team on site continue to repair the burst water pipe.

"We know how difficult it is to have no water and we’re sorry for the inconvenience this may be causing. We’d like to reassure our customers that we’re doing everything we can to get the water supplies back on as soon as we can.

"As the burst pipe is in the road, unfortunately we do need to manage traffic with temporary lights to allow our teams to work safely and to keep road users safely away from the work area. Again we’d like to apologise for any disruption this may cause."
