Car smashes into Walsall Spar in Boxing Day ram-raid
Crooks drove a car into the the front of a shop during a dramatic ram-raid.
The Spar on Wolverhampton Road West, Bentley, Walsall, was targeted in the early hours of Boxing Day.
The raiders smashed through a window next to the shop entrance but are thought to have left empty-handed after not being able to get into the tills.
The shop is normally open 24 hours but was closed at the time for Christmas. It re-opened as normal yesterday, just hours after the raid, with fewer tills operating.
Around a third of the shop frontage was boarded up yesterday.
