Man dies after fall from roof in Streetly
A man has died after falling from the roof of a building in Streetly.
An air ambulance is reported to have landed on the playing field of The Streetly Academy, near Sutton Park, just after 12noon today.
Police said that a man died after falling from the roof of a building in Moss Way.
A spokeswoman for West Midland Police said: "Police were called by the ambulance service after a man died falling from the roof of a building in Moss Way, Streetly, at 12.12pm this afternoon.
"Investigations are now ongoing to establish the circumstances that led to the man falling."
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman added: “Crews arrived to find a man who had reportedly fallen from a roof and was in a serious condition.
"Ambulance staff worked as a team to administer advanced life support but sadly nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
