The market is all part of the churches' 180th anniversary celebration which has seen various events including a wedding fair and open weekend which was very well attended.

The Reverend Alison Morris from the church said: "This is a special year for the church with us celebrating 180 years and Christmas is always a great time of year so we ware looking forward to getting ready for it in the right inclusive spirit.

"The younger members of the church we have christened Diddy Disciples and they have worked well with others to get ready for the event which is of course open to the whole community."

The Christmas market will open at 10am on Saturday (November 23) when Santa Claus arrives with horses and there will be stalls from crafts to cakes, home made produce and tombola - admission to the event is free.
