Fire rips through shed spreading to homes in Brownhills

Fire crews were called out after a shed fire in Brownhills spread to nearby homes.

Emergency services from Aldridge Fire attended the scene in Cedar Avenue after the fire spread to two neighbouring homes, causing significant damage.

Windows, fascias and a fence were all badly burned during the incident on Thursday afternoon.

The fire is believed to have been started by a gas cylinders which were stored in a shed.

There were no injuries.

Fire crews have reminded homeowners to be mindful when storing such items close to properties.
