Bloxwich home saved by firefighters as garden blaze spreads to house
Fifteen firefighters were needed to stop a fire gutting a house after it spread from the back garden last night.

Three fire engines attended the blaze in Glastonbury Crescent in Bloxwich.
West Midlands Fire Service received a 999 call to a fire in the back garden of the property.
The blaze began late on Monday evening and firefighters battled the flames into the early hours of this morning.

The flames had spread to the first floor of the terraced house, with the first-floor windows, ground-floor windows and roof all affected.
Crews from Walsall, Bloxwich and Willenhall were all sent to tackle the fire.
Two firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose-reel jets to extinguish the fire – which saw 50 per cent of the house filled with smoke.
