Caravans melted to the ground in Aldridge blaze

Caravans were melted to the ground in a fire in Aldridge.

Two fire crews were called to the scene in Bosty Lane just after 5.30am today.

They used two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to bring the blaze under control.

The cause is not yet known, West Midlands Fire Service said.

Aldridge Fire tweeted saying: "Green Watch attended three caravans on fire on Bosty Lane, Aldridge. Two BA and two hose reels were used to bring this incident to a close.

"Crews are working with business owners to ensure business continuity and safety is maintained through safe and strong advice."
