The planned development for the first and second floors of 11a Bradford Street in Walsall would see the former business premises converted to single-bedroomed flats above the Baguette Heaven sandwich shop, opposite the entrance to the Saddlers Shopping Centre.
The Crystal Ship Tattoo Studio officially moved out of the 1960's-era building in January having called the upper floors of the premises home since 2019.
Under the change-of-use proposals posted by applicant Simviraj Ltd last week, the former tattoo and piercing business premises would become four "self-contained" flats with separate kitchen, living room and bathrooms, if the scheme is approved.
