Shoppers and residents have expressed their upset at the 'not-so-jolly' festive decorations that have been placed in Walsall town centre for the Christmas period.
The decorations this year include a number of lights that have been placed on poles on Park Street and a Christmas spruce with festive lights attached that has been planted near the bus station.
While the thought of the lights sounds magical, Walsall residents have said the reality is much more gloomy.
Sue Moseley, a Walsall resident, said: "It's an utter disgrace, it really is. There is hardely anything here. It's actually really upsetting.
"I remember a few years ago when we had a real light switch on, we had performers and celebrities switching the lights on. It's just gone downhill."
