Two sessions took place at Reedswood Park including litter picking and removing graffiti. One was at the Pelsall North Common Wildlife Habitat Project which saw scrub and unwanted plant species removed and the fourth, a similar project, at Victory Pools.

The clean-up and habitat management sessions have already had a noticeable impact on Walsall’s green spaces, improving biodiversity and creating cleaner, safer environments for local residents and wildlife.

Volunteer Nathan Hill said:  Litter picking might seem like a small act, but seeing the immediate difference really hit home. The streets looked cleaner, and knowing we were making a real impact in our own neighbourhood was incredibly rewarding."
