Historic Walsall watering hole which could not be saved for community use is up for sale
An historic Walsall public house which closed its doors four years ago is being put up for sale.

Walsall Council has announced that the owners of the White Lion, in Sandwell Street, Caldmore, have notified the council of their intention to sell the property.
The pub, which closed in 2020, is currently nominated as an asset of community value and the community interest group in charge of the building has been given a six-month period to prepare and submit a bid for the building.
