Meet the man from Walsall with the world's largest bus collection - and it's just got even bigger
He is the Walsall man who has held a Guinness World Record for two decades for the world’s largest collection of toy buses – and it is still expanding.
Geoff Price and his wife Linda have sourced their collection from around the world and recently flew back from Sri Lanka in South Asia with another 44 model buses to add to their collection.
The collection now stands at 15,362 model buses of all shapes and sizes, up to 13ft high.
The couple have been visiting the south west of Sri Lanka annually since 2003 in search of model buses from markets and toy shops, although it was the first time they had returned since just before the pandemic.
Mr Price, 73, who has been collecting the models since the age of eight, said that following the award of the Guinness World Record during an appearance on This Morning in 2003 – which attracted a flurry of media attention – the couple have become well known in Sri Lanka.
