Residents in area of Walsall unable to dial 999 on landline phones
Residents living in an area of Walsall were left unable to call for emergency services due to an issue with land line phones on Thursday night.
Walsall Council has said people living in the Leamore area were unable to dial 999 from their land line.
The local authority advised residents to instead call the emergency number on their mobile phones if needed.
The issue was expected to be resolved by 7.30pm.
