Parents urged to be vigilant after attempted kidnapping near primary school
Parents have been urged to be vigilant after an attempted kidnapping of a child near a Walsall primary school.
Officers said a small white car – with foreign number plates – is alleged to have been involved in the attempted kidnap.
The incident is believed to have taken place on Monday near to Chuckery Primary School on Lincoln Road.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Please be aware of a suspicious motor vehicle – a small white car with foreign number plates showing.
"This vehicle is alleged to have been involved in an attempted kidnap of a child on November 23 near to Chuckery Primary School.
"It is also reported that an occupant from this vehicle may have been wearing a black glove."
People have been urged to contact 101 – or 999 in an emergency – with any information relating to sightings of the vehicle or any suspicious activity.
