Teenage biker seriously injured in Walsall hit-and-run
A teenager has been left seriously injured after a hit-and-run crash in Walsall.
The 17-year-old motorcyclist was left with "possibly life-changing" leg injuries after being involved in a crash with a white car at the junction of Brownhills Road and Coppice Road in Walsall Wood on Wednesday evening.
The driver of the white car failed to stop after the crash at 6.10pm and left the scene via Coppice Road, towards Walsall.
The teenager is today recovering in hospital, following surgery for the injuries to his leg.

West Midlands Police has now launched an appeal for witnesses to the collision and anyone who may know the driver to come forward.
Sergeant Dean Caswell, from the force's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "A teenager has been left with serious, possibly life-changing injuries by this collision and we want to discover exactly what happened.
"Our enquiries are continuing and I would urge the driver of the white car to come forward at this stage and speak to us.
"I would also ask anyone who may know who that driver is or who has any dash-cam footage of the collision to get in touch."
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called at 6pm on Wednesday to reports of a patient who had fallen from his motorbike on Brownhills Road.
"One ambulance and a BASICS doctor attended the scene. On arrival we discovered one patient, a teenage male.
"He received treatment for a serious injury before being taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, in Birmingham, for further assessment."
