Walsall tops Christmas card survey for generosity
A national study by a card retailer has found one Black Country town is the most generous at Christmas - and another is among the least.
Walsall topped the national rankings for the most cards handed out at Christmas. West Bromwich came in the bottom five of the table.
Data on 5,000,000 customers was analysed as part of the study.
It found 111 people in Walsall send Christmas cards per 1,000 people. But in West Bromwich, just 20 do.
Dudley ranks within the top 30 most generous places nationwide.
Stafford and Kidderminster are also hot on the heels of Walsall. Both towns rank within the top 20.
The survey also analysed the generosity of people according to their names. Emma and Sarah was ranked the most generous in the UK.
