A total of 13 firefighters rushed to Broadway North in the borough at around 1.30am this morning.

The black car was left with severe front-end damage – with an airbag having been deployed in the front passenger's seat.

There was structural damage to the house due to the crash, with the technical rescue unit putting supporting beams in place.

No-one was injured in the crash, West Midlands Fire Service said.
