Woman freed after two-car crash in Walsall
A woman had to be freed from her car after two vehicles crashed in Walsall
The front seat passenger, aged in her 20s, was rescued by fire crews after the crash on the junction of Bentley Lane and Rowland Street.
Three ambulances and a paramedic officer rushed to the scene, in the Birchills, at around 8pm on Wednesday night.
The vehicle suffered front-end damage after the car crash, with the woman being taken to Walsall Manor Hospital as a precaution.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said: "Police were called to reports of a collision between two cars on Bentley Lane at 8pm.
"One car left the scene before police arrived and a woman in the second car was taken to hospital.
"She has since been discharged."
The driver, in her 40s, and a back-seat passenger in her 50s managed to free themselves before crews arrived.
They were treated at the scene before being discharged.
