Woman suffers broken leg in Walsall crash

A woman suffered a broken leg after two-car crash in Walsall.

The crash happened at just before 7.15pm on Broadway North at the junction with Arboretum Road yesterday.

A white Fiat 500 and a grey BMW were involved in the collision.

A woman was helped from the Fiat by emergency services.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "We received a 999 call from a member of the public.

"It was a two vehicle collision and there was debris in the road.

"The woman was in the white vehicle and it is believed she suffered a broken leg."

Walsall Fire Station tweeted: "Both appliances from Walsall attended an RTC.

"Crews assisted paramedics in removing a woman with a broken leg from her vehicle. "

A West Midlands Fire Service spokesman added: "The incident involved two cars in collision on the roadway.

"We assisted paramedics and made the vehicles safe."
