Three boys arrested after teen threatened with knife in Great Barr

Three boys have been arrested after a teenager was threatened with a knife in Great Barr.

The incident happened in a park off Collingwood Drive

Police received reports from concerned residents that teens were brandishing a large knife at other youngsters in Doe Bank Park, off Collingwood Drive, in Pheasey, on Saturday afternoon.

Officers said a teenage boy was threatened with a knife at around 5.05pm.

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a knife and causing affray and two other 14-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of causing affray. They remain in police custody.

No-one has been injured and police enquiries are ongoing.
