Roadworks to close street for three weeks
Part of a Walsall road will be closed for three weeks starting today while roadworks take place.
Guild Avenue will be closed off between the junctions of Harden Road and Hollemeadow Avenue for 24 hours of the day while a gas main replacement scheme is carried out.
Balfour Beatty will carry out the work on behalf of Cadent Gas.
Meanwhile, temporary traffic signals will also be in place on Lichfield Road in Walsall Wood today for four nights.
The signals will be from the junctions of Salters Road and Chester Road from 9pm to 6am while Openreach installs a telecoms cable.
