Walsall FC players visit school
Pupils at a Walsall school were "in awe" when Saddlers players turned up for an afternoon.
The lucky youngsters at North Walsall Primary Academy were visited by players Nicky Devlin and Jon Guthrie on Wednesday.
The team mates held a questions and answer session at the school in Derby Street and then gave away goodie bags to help engage the younger generation of supporters.
Teacher Charlotte Tuck said the children listened intently and were very interested in what the players had to say.
She said: “All of the children were quite ‘in awe’ during the visit.
"They listened really intently and were very interested in the players responses – loved their T-shirts too."
