Drivers to face delays over roadworks in Walsall

Drivers will be faced with diversions in a number of areas across Walsall in the coming days.

A number of roads will be closed overnight in Little Bloxwich, Brownhills and Willenhall as roadworks are carried out.

Stoney Lane and Abbotts Street in Little Bloxwich will be closed on Monday for two nights between 7pm and 6am while the roads are resurfaced.

Meanwhile, Lichfield Road in Brownhills will close nightly from Wednesday to February 12 while Tarmac carries out resurfacing work on behalf of Walsall Council.

The closure will be between the junction of B5011 Ogley Road and the canal bridge. And Lichfield Road between the junctions of Crab Lan and Vernon Way in Willenhall will be closed on Thursday from 10pm to 6am while bridge inspection works are carried out by Kier.

Victor Street in Walsall is currently under 24-hour closure and will be until Wednesday while emergency gas main repairs are carried out.

Later in the month, part of Lindon Road in Brownhills will close overnight for 12 nights.

The closure will be from February 13 to 25 from 7pm to 6am while the road is resurfaced.
