Man who died in motorway crash named by police as Frazer Gray from Walsall
A man who died in a crash on the M1 has been named as 24-year-old Frazer Gray from Walsall.
Mr Gray, from Pelsall, was the driver of a black Audi A3 which left the carriageway between junctions 20 and 21 in Dunton Bassett, Leicestershire during the early hours of Sunday.
His car came to rest on an embankment but when Mr Gray got out of the car, he was then hit by a silver Ford Fiesta.
He was taken to hospital but died shortly after.
Police released his name earlier today (Thursday) and are now appealing for information.
Anyone who saw the vehicle before or after the collision or who has dashcam footage is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Leicestershire Police on 101 quoting incident 48 of September 9.
