Man armed with hammer steals thousands from Walsall post office after masked raid
A masked robber armed with a hammer stole thousands of pounds from a post office last month.
West Midlands police are now appealing for information to find the man who was wearing a black balaclava when he robbed the branch on Wolverhampton Road.
The incident happened at 8.10am on November 26 and police have released an image of the offender from CCTV footage.
He is wearing a black balaclava as well as a black jumper with a hood that has a green and red emblem on the left side.
It is believed the culprit is a white man aged in his early 20s from the local area.
He threatened a staff member working at the store and stole several thousand pounds in cash and cigarettes.
