PICTURED: Extent of damage revealed after Boxing Day ram-raid on Walsall Spar
New pictures show the extent of damage at a Spar shop in Walsall after it was targeted by ram-raiders on Boxing Day.

The shop, on Wolverhampton Road West in Bentley, was ram-raided in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Raiders smashed through a window next to the shop entrance but are thought to have left empty after not being able to get into the tills.

Pictures submitted to the Express & Star from StifMediaCorp show the store in a bit of a mess, with crumbled glass, cardboards boxes strewn everywhere and the shop's stock covering the floors.
Despite the raid the shop opened as normal on Boxing Day, with around a third of the shop frontage boarded up.
