The BENefit Gig is an annual music event for young people in the Aldridge area inspired by former Aldridge School pupil Ben Sambrook, who died in 2014, just short of his 15th birthday.

The show, which is held every March, enables young musicians to gain profile, experience and confidence and has brought in £10,000 for brain tumour charities over the last four years.

It costs £1,000 to produce, which is normally raised by sponsorship, with organisers hoping the November Winter Dance, held at The Killock in Aldridge on November 24, can help towards that total this year.

Ticket information can be found on the Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/BENefitGig or by calling the box office on 01922 456 742.
