Rushall Olympic Football Club will be allowed to build a new 3G pitch, security fencing, floodlights and improved pedestrian access to its Daw End site after Walsall Council planning officers gave the go ahead to plans.

The club say in planning documents that the works will allow Rushall Olympic to 'reach its full potential' and help prevent vandalism at the site.

The club started in 1951 and currently plays in the Evo-Stik League Northern Premier Division.
