Tributes to father killed in Walsall motorbike crash

Tributes have been paid to a father-of four who was killed following a collision involving his motorbike and two other cars.

Paramedics rushed to the aid of 27-year-old Garathan Marsh following the incident at Lower Rushall Street, Walsall at 10.10pm on Wednesday.

But despite their efforts he passed in hospital.

A statement from Mr Marsh's family said: "Gaz was a dad of four who was loved and known by many.

"He had a heart of gold and was always there to help others.“

West Midlands Police has called for witnesses to the collision to get in touch.

A post issued on its social media accounts said: "We are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Walsall on the evening of Wednesday 13 September.

"Emergency services were called to Lower Rushall Street between the junctions of Holtshill Hill Lane and Intown Row at around 10.10pm following a collision involving a motorbike and two cars.

"The 27-year-old motorcyclist was treated by paramedics at the scene but despite their best efforts later died at hospital. Both drivers stopped at the scene and are assisting police with their investigations."
