Walsall supporter at centre of fake news story to quit Twitter over abuse
A football supporter who made up a story about an away trip to the south coast says he will quit a social media channel after receiving abuse.

Walsall fan Davey Drew told Twitter folllowers he had booked a guest house on the Isle of Wight - for a game in Portsmouth.
It was shared on Twitter thousands of times and read by 2.5m users.
But he admitted the story was made up to the Express & Star last week.
This week, the supporter said: "Sorry folks, I'm quitting twitter, don't deserve this abuse for an innocent joke that put us on the global map, goodnight each."
He added: "Don't think I deserve the abuse I'm getting for a harmless joke that put us on the world map."
