A Walsall fan was left shocked when he had to get a ferry from his hotel to the Saddlers away game at Portsmouth.
A fan who booked a hotel for Walsall's away game at Portsmouth was left somewhat surprised when he realised it was on the Isle of Wight.
The Saddlers fan, whose Twitter handle is @Daveysaddler, booked the room on Friday night and expressed his delight at being able to attend the League One game at Fratton Park for a good price.
But as the old saying goes, if it is too good to be true, it probably is, and that was certainly the case here with him having to get a ferry to the match.
The game ended in a 1-1 draw.
