Caravan destroyed in Willenhall arson attack
A caravan was left destroyed after a suspected arson attack.
Firefighters were called to Vernon Close, Willenhall, at 8.49am this morning.
A crew from Willenhall and Bilston attended but the caravan could not be saved.
A picture released by Willenhall Fire on Twitter showed that the back half had been completed obliterated with only a blackened and charred base remaining.
A West Midlands Fire Service spokeswoman said: "We were called to Vernon Close at 8.49am. The caravan was 100 per cent destroyed by fire.
"We could not identify who the owner was.
"It is believed to be arson. Police presence was requested. We left the scene at 9.30am."
West Midlands Police had no further details on the incident at this time.
