Suzanne worked in the NHS at Birmingham Children's Hospital specialising in treating children with single ventricle defects – effectively half a working heart.

Then she joined Little Hearts Matter which will celebrate 30 years in 2024 and has been the only charity in the UK dedicated to supporting and empowering anyone affected by the diagnosis of the same condition.

Suzanne, aged 61, has led the mission to provide the support and answers that were previously lacking.
