Stafford man charged with drugs possession
A Stafford man has appeared in court charged with possession with intent to supply drugs.
Marley Ricks, also known as James Wilson, faces one charge over a controlled Class A drug, cocaine, and one over a controlled Class B drug, cannabis.
Ricks, of Gaol Road, was searched and arrested by officers in Lloyd Street, Stafford, at around 6.15pm on Monday, November 16. Ricks, 35, resisted the search, resulting in officers receiving minor injuries.
Ricks, of Gaol Road, appeared at North Staffordshire Magistrates Court on Wednesday, November 18, where he indicated a plea of guilty.
He is next due to appear at Stafford Crown Court on a date to be confirmed.
